Welcome to a great new school year! I hope you had an exciting and fun-filled summer. I did! Now, I am eager to get back to the classroom and our journey together.
Just a couple of quick notes for our new and returning students:
- If your child comes home with a problem, struggle or need, please contact me and I will do my best to help you in whatever way I can.
- My weebly page has weekly lesson plans, information regarding special events, and lots of pictures. The drop down menu is indicated on the top left by triple lines.
- Assignment books will be used and signed by the teacher daily. We ask that parents of students in grades 4 and 5 sign the agenda daily as well. Assignments are recorded in the agenda on the day that they are due.
- Grades are entered weekly in PowerSchool. This is an excellent tool for monitoring your child’s academic progress. Students will have a folder labeled “Take Home”. It will contain graded work (that can stay at home), general information, and items that need to be signed and returned.
