Parent Conferences
Oct. 12, 2017
Dear Parents,
As you know that November 2nd is parent-teacher conferences from 1pm-7pm. We are looking forward to meeting each of you. From our past experiences with pre-teens it would be helpful to have a Student-Parent-Teacher conference to go over strengths and struggles together. This creates a sense of teamwork amongst all participants, not just the teacher and parent.
Both teachers will be doing conferences together with each student and their parents. We understand that your time is precious and we would like to make this as convenient as possible to meet with you.
Conferences are an opportune time to support and guide the ones we love.
Please call (563-8817) or email the office [email protected] at your earliest convenience. Conferences will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Due to the number of students, if after school would work better for you, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Thank you,
Mrs. Erkkila and Mrs. Kellrooney

Bishop’s Mass and All Saint’s Day
Follow Up-We would love to see lots of creative pumpkins and Saints. We brainstormed inexpensive costumes that could be worn and your children have many good ideas - please encourage them to participate.
Grades 4-8 have chosen a Saint to research and will create a pumpkin “look alike” the week of October 30th. Please bring a pumpkin or $3.00 by Friday 10-20.
Students are also encouraged to find additional materials that will make their pumpkin extra saintly. The pumpkins will decorate our hallways for the Bishop’s visit to our school. On November 1rst we will celebrate All Saint’s Day with a mass led by our Bishop. Students are encouraged to bring a costume and dress as their Saint for afternoon activities. They may bring a treat to pass as well. We’re looking forward to fun activities!
